Adelaide’s tallest residential apartment building, VUE on King William, is taking shape, less than 12 months away from completion. And this week saw this stunning architecturally designed building reach its 85 metre height above Adelaide’s CBD.
To celebrate the building’s topping out ceremony just prior to Christmas, more than 200 contractors gathered to watch a Christmas tree be erected for the festive season.
Built by Starfish Developments in conjunction with Asian Pacific Group and internationally renowned Woods Bagot Architects, VUE on King William has taken only 12 months to get to this stage. It took up 332,500 man hours, 740 tons of steel reinforcement, around 1,500 truckloads of concrete and 8,000 sq metres of glass to develop the 205 luxury residential apartments across 26 floors, and not to mention all at a cost of $100 million.
VUE on King William is due for completion mid 2016.
