Adelaide retirement living is taking on a new look with a $275 million development proposal plan for the former Trims site on King William Street.
Adelaide based property developer Karidis Corporation has proposed plans for a four tower multi-purpose site that will combine luxury retirement living with a hotel, residential apartments, as well as retail and office space.
Having purchased the site back in 2013 for more than $6 million, Gerry Karidis has an impressive master plan for this site. The four towers will be made up of two 28 story buildings that will comprise luxury residential 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses, serviced apartments dedicated for over 55’s retirement living and independent retirement living along with hotel, rooftop restaurant, cinema, pool and gym facilities and car parking.
The remaining two towers, one 12 stories and the other 18 stories, will offer a mixture of luxury serviced apartments and commercial space.
It is the eight floors of serviced apartments dedicated to those over 55 that set this development apart from any others like it in Adelaide. Private concierge and the option for full room service will help bring retirement living in Adelaide into another level of luxury.
While the proposed development is still awaiting planning consent, an official unveiling will take place on Wednesday evening at an invitation-only gala event.
